MRT at the Launceston Gem and Mineral Show

The Launceston Gem and Mineral show was held on the weekend of November 16 and 17, 2019, in the Elphin Sports Centre. The weather and crowds were pretty good, some coming to buy treasures, and many just to look at the displays and trade stalls. Word has it that nearly 600 people came to see the displays and what was offered by 21 traders from Tasmania and interstate.

Minister Barnett Announces Successful 3rd Round EDGI Applicants

MRT at the Zeehan Gem and Mineral Fair

The sixteenth Zeehan Gem and Mineral Fair was held on the weekend of 9-10th November in the Zeehan school sports stadium, and as always MRT was there represented by Ralph Bottrill and staff from the Burnie office. The weather was cold and wet but that didn't keep people away, with a steady flow of prospective customers crowding the stadium looking for a bargain or seeking a mineral identification.
