Recommendation to Grant EL8/2019 - Gordon Dam

The Director of Mines intends to recommend to the Minister for Resources that they grant exploration licence EL8/2019 in the Gordon Dam area to the Hydro-Electric Corporation. Anyone claiming an estate or proprietary interest within the application area may make comment or lodge a formal objection to the granting of the application prior to 19 October 2019.

Minister Opens Furneaux Geotrail - Flinders Island

New Industrial, Precious and Semi-Precious Mineral Occurrence Map Published

MRT has recently published a new 1:500,000 Industrial, Precious and Semi-Precious Mineral Occurrences of Tasmania map. This map shows individual recorded occurrences of Industrial, Precious and Semi-Precious minerals throughout Tasmania, and complements the Mineral Deposit and Metallogeny of Tasmania map (released 2017) and the Alluvial Mineral Occurrences of Tasmania map (released 2018).
