Taroona Land Stability

A report titled An investigation of land stability in the Taroona area has been produced by Mineral Resources Tasmania. Hard copies of this report may be purchased from Mineral Resources Tasmania for $25, or the report can be downloaded as two files.

The first of these files contains the main descriptive part of the report, while the second file contains the appendices to the report. These appendices include the logs of boreholes drilled, a report on the palynology of some rock samples, the results of mineralogical and geotechnical testing, the results of groundwater analysis, and inclinometer data.

Mineral Resources Tasmania also requested Coffey Geosciences Pty Ltd to conduct an assessment of landslide activity, hazard and risk in part of the Taroona area.
