Annotation
The groundwater resources in the Port Sorell area were investigated by using seismic spreads, bore holes, pump testing and water analysis. Some 300-600 litres a minute of water were required to supplement the town water supply at Port Sorell. Tertiary sand and gravel in the area contained adequate supplies of groundwater, although the water quality could be marginal. Any bores should be tested for chemicals and biological activity.
