Annotation
A geological reconnaissance of the Sorell Rivulet and Pawleena dam. The behaviour of water tables and springs is discussed. Groundwater availability predictions are uncertain in the Tertiary basalts. No obvious geological difficulties are involved in increasing the height of Pawleena dam by some 2-3 metres.
