Annotation
Groundwater was located in clean quartz sands and salinities ranged considerably. The best yield from a spear bore in this aquifer was 27 l/min. An artificial lake excavated below the water table is a feasible proposition, this was suggested for garden irrigation for a proposed subdivision. The possibility of septic tank contamination was high and drinking water was best drawn from surface dams.
