Earthquake risk and mitigation workshop

An earthquake risk and mitigation workshop was conducted in September 2022 as part of a project exploring Tasmania's natural hazards. A two hour presentation, given as part of the workshop, has been published here.

The project was a collaboration between Geoscience Australia and The Department of State Growth including Mineral Resources Tasmania. The aim of the workshop was to understand the contemporary earthquake hazard assessment for Tasmania for a credible scenario, and then to support mitigation measures.
