New edition of Tasmanian gemstone guide released

This book is a companion to our most popular release: Fossicking Areas in Tasmania, and contains mineralogical information on Tasmania's most commonly occurring gemstones, along with updated maps and locational data on where to find them. It has been prepared as a guide for those interested in collecting and polishing Tasmanian gemstones.

A PDF of the new book may be downloaded from the MRT website, or a soft-cover version can be ordered from our offices over the phone ($8.00), or purchased from selected bookstores around Tasmania.

Copies are currently available from MRT's Rosny office and will soon be  available in Burnie.
