Annual Reports detailing the activities of the Department and recording the progress of the Tasmanian minerals industry have been issued continuously since the 1880's and form a valuable historical record. Early reports were issued under the title of Report of the Secretary for Mines, later being changed to the Report of the Director of Mines.

Mineral Resources Tasmania continues to produce an Annual Review, which details the activities of the Division and summarises the current activities of the minerals industry, including production statistics of various mines and production figures by commodity.

All previous Annual Reports can be viewed or downloaded using the Document Search facility (search using the string AR* in the "Report No." box).
