Can prospecting occur on private property?

The holder of a Prospecting Licence may prospect on private land and mineral tenements with the correct permissions. Permission to enter private land for the purpose of prospecting must be gained from the land owner or mineral tenement holder, or both in cases where private land and mineral tenements coincide.
