NEW RELEASE: Part 2 of a study of the structural geology of northern Tasmania

MRT has released the second in a series of Geological Survey Papers (GSPs) dealing with the structural character of northern Tasmania.

Part two of this series: The Ulverstone Metamorphic Sheet and the West Ulverstone Imbricate Zone, interrogates the highly strained quartzites, phyllites and quartz-pebble conglomerates of the Ulverstone Metamorphic Sheet, alongside the relatively unmetamorphosed, sandstone-mudstone sequence of the Oonah formation.
