Fossicking once again permitted at Lune River

Sustainable Timber Tasmania's forestry operations at Lune River have concluded and fossicking is once again permitted within the designated area. Fossickers are welcome to return to the Lune River area in order to fossick for gemstones while abiding by the conditions relating to fossicking areas.
A prospecting licence is not required to fossick within declared fossicking areas. For more information on fossicking in Tasmania please click here.
