New Australian guidelines for the submission of digital mineral exploration data

The Government Geoscience Information Committee (GGIC) has released a major revision to its reporting guideline: Australian Guidelines for  the Submission of Digital Mineral Exploration Data.

The revision introduces changes to submission templates for geophysical, petrophysical, downhole data, core photography and structural information. The most significant changes are for the submission of geophysical data, which now specifically address particular data sub-categories for technologies seeing the highest levels of uptake.

MRT's data submission templates currently remain unchanged but will be reviewed in future in line with our regular update schedule.
