Mineral Resources Development Act 1995

The Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 (MRDA) is an Act which provides for the development of mineral resources consistent with sound economic, environmental and land use management in Tasmania. Mineral Resources Tasmania administers the approval of, and ongoing works on, exploration licences, special exploration licences, retention licences, production licences and mining leases under the MRDA.
